A review of Dyson vacuum cleaners shows customers are pleased
A review of Dyson vacuum cleaners shows that they are highly rated by consumers despite their high price tag. There did seem to be some reliability issues and a below average repair rate record by the company. These concerns were addressed by Dyson by increasing their warranty to five year and the newest vacuums such as the DC17 are proving more reliable. They appear to be built better than the previous vacuums.
When a review of Dyson vacuum cleaners was done by Good Housekeeping and the Wall Street Journal it was found their suction didn’t have any advantage. Consumer Reports tested Dyson vacuums on their ability to pick up pet hair off of carpet and Dyson’s didn’t stand out above the models.
Looking at review of Dyson vacuum cleaners by owners at amazon.com or Epinions they are happy with their purchase and feel it is worth the cost. A few complain about how heavy they are, controls not positioned well and trouble getting replacement parts and repairs. The majority are extremely happy with their purchase. The DC 17 is reported to be lighter and easier to push and the DC 18 is even lighter. Check them out for yourself and decide for yourself if they are worth the extra cost.
